Competition Sponsorship

It’s that time of the year where the men’s competition committee are starting to put together the competition fixtures and sponsors for the coming year. Sponsors play a vital role in the success of competitions at Strandhill Golf Club and without their continued support, we would be unable to offer the quality of competition that we’ve had in years past.

To that end, if there are any members who know of someone or indeed who would be interested in sponsoring a competition themselves at Strandhill Golf Club this year, you can speak to any member of the men’s committee.

We are delighted to announce that after a lot of work over the past few months, the promotional video for Strandhill Golf Club has been released. The video footage was shot by Sligo company, Airdrone Expert over the summer months. They then passed the raw footage onto us and John Rainey set about going through the hours of footage to compile and edit it into the completed 2 minute video.

This will be the first of a few video’s that will appear over the next few months that will be used to promote the club locally, nationally and internationally.

The video has been posted on all of our social media platforms as well as on the website and we would ask all of our members to please take the time to share the video on whatever social media platform you are active on.

This video showcases the beauty of our unique golf course and it’s up to us as members to make sure that we spread the word far and wide to attract as many visitors to the club as possible.
